We're excited to bring to you more music than ever before, with an expanded line-up of the best of the best Louisiana jazz and blues artists, featuring our 2013 Highland Jazz & Blues Festival Headliner, Irma Thomas, Soul Queen of New Orleans.

Headlining the Gazebo Stage is New Orleans based singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer, Papa Mali.

Also featured for 2013 are Buddy Flett, Jazziana, Joe Nadeau Band, A.J. & The Two Tone Blues Band, Mark Griffith Trio, Jerry Beach Blues Jam featuring Robin Beach Black and Matthew Davidson, Howling Henry & The Blues Expression, Dirty Redd, and for the first time ever, morning sessions beginning at 10:00 a.m., featuring The Matthew Davidson Band & Friends on the Pavilion stage and Brady Blade & Friends on the Gazebo stage.

See our Music page for a full-line up and more information.

We'll also have more food, more artisans, and more surprises to unveil as we celebrate ten incredible years of music in the park. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for more information in the coming weeks.

Thank you for the support!

Since it's debut in 2003, with a handful of bands and a crowd of 500-1,000, the Highland Jazz & Blues Festival has grown to include headlining national acts, and more vendors and activities every year, with an estimated crowd of 10,000 music fans in 2012, many traveling from outside the area to attend.

The event takes place each November on the second Saturday, and is a gift to the community from the non-profit Highland Area Partnership doing business as the Highland Jazz & Blues Festival. Proceeds from donations and sponsors, along with poster, t-shirt, and beverage sales, are used to bring this volunteer-driven festival back each year.

The Highland Jazz & Blues Festival could not exist without the generous support of our sponsors, donors, and friends. From the bottom of our hearts, we THANK YOU ALL for 10 years of continued support and look forward to many more music-filled years.
